May The Force Be With You | Star Wars Themed May Bullet Journal Set-Up

With all of this time on my hands, I decided to be a bit more adventurous with my bullet journal theme for May. Star Wars was a key part of my childhood and I still get excited by the anticipation of new films. This post is only going to be a short one, although I hope you enjoy it.

My cover page is quite simple, though the Star Wars font is recognisable. On the left hand page I decided to do a quote from Yoda: ‘Do or do not, there is no try’. I decided on this as my motto for May because I want to put a lot of effort into everything I do. That includes schoolwork, blogging, music and more.

I’m sure I won’t be using the calendar page for anything other than birthdays and blogging. However it is nice to have! Especially if my school start doing online classes and video calls. Though they’re not the most tech-savvy, so I don’t really know if that will happen haha.

These are the pages I put effort into, my habit and mood tracker. Usually I don’t keep up with these but I’m going to this month! (linking back to previously – there is no try).

My habit-sabers are going to be where I track the habits I want to get into daily. Most of these I’ve got into a routine of doing, but tracking them down helps motivate me to carry on. Here are all of the things I want to track in my bullet journal for May:

  • Reading the Goldfinch (more on that in another post)
  • Practise my cello
  • Morning yoga
  • Writing for my blog
  • Catching up on other people’s posts
  • Reply to notifications and comments
  • Following my morning routine
  • Getting ready for bed at 8:00pm
  • Duolingo

We couldn’t have a spread without a bit of wordplay! If you watch Star Wars, you may be aware of the quote ‘that’s no moon’ in reference to the Death Star. For my mood tracker I crossed out the ‘moon’ and put ‘mood’ instead, since it’s where I’ll shade in my emotions. As the Death Star is grey, I’ll be colouring each section in a different shade of grey. If I do fill it in, hopefully it will end up looking like an authentic Death Star.

Now, those are all of the spreads for May! I will be adding in more as the month goes on, such as a TBR spread and blog post ideas etc. However I’m nearing dangerously close to the end of this bujo. At this rate, I imagine I’ll have to buy a new one for June! So keep your eyes peeled for more bullet journal content (setting up my new bullet journal!)

Do you have a bullet journal? What do you want to achieve in May?

May the force be with you,

    • Same here, and I wish I had it on DVD or something so that I could watch it on my laptop. My favourite film is definitely Return Of The Jedi. All of those cute Ewoks steal my heart! Take care 🙂

  1. Wow this is so cool! I love your designs and you’ve got the font down so well. I’m not a Star Wars fan but even I love the May theme! Sounds like it’s a busy May ahead with all the things you want to do. I hope it’s a good month for you lovely xx

    • Thank you Caz! That really means a lot. To be honest I’m not the greatest fan myself. However, I thought it was appropriate for ‘May The Fourth Be With You’ haha. The past couple of days haven’t been amazing, but today I buckled down and got a lot of stuff done. Have a great May too! x
