Top 7 Favourite YouTubers | Humour, Studying, Books & More

While searching around for post ideas, I stumbled across a post from Sophie’s Corner all about her favourite YouTubers! As I spend a lot of time (too much, really!) on YouTube, I thought it would be a suitable post to share with you today.

Most of the people I watch are to lift my spirits. A few years ago, all I watched was lifestyle and ‘self-improvement’ videos. These only made me feel more guilty for my bad habits, so I stopped watching them all together. We all sub-conciously compare ourselves to these well-edited influencers, and that has such a negative impact on our mental health. By cutting out these perfect people, I was comparing myself less and consequently feeling happier. I don’t mean to complain because these Influencers are doing very well for themselves! It’s just my personal health that would benefit from not having this ‘perfect’ life being lived all around me.

Hope that after this post you go on to watch these YouTubers I so know and love!

Ruby posts lots of studying and bookish related content. Her videos are very wholesome and really bring me down to Earth, especially the vlogs in which she simply appreciates the world around her! Her niche is very ‘studytube’ though there is a wide variety. Some recipes dotted here and there, book recommendations and reviews, plus lots of vlogs!

I admire this woman. She is currently studying at university though last year she took a gap year and went interrailing around Europe. Her consistent effort always shows through, and in her travel vlogs you can see the obstacles no-one ever mentions. For an aspiring solo-backpacker, I believe her honest content will really help me if I begin that journey one day! Jade also encouraged me to try yoga, a habit I began recently and have since stuck with!

Grace is so underrated! Her videos are of top quality and her humour is admirable! As a bakery student, she also provides a lot of baking content (which of course I love, because I’m an avid baker myself). The video styles and ideas are very original, but she also covers topics that are prominent in the news. On ExtraGrack she posts vlogs, which are all a bit random but so relatable and funny!

You’ll get sucked in… Taz never fails to make me laugh out loud! Though she is quite well-known, that does not distract her from the goals of having a house and ‘always getting the bargains’. I find her content uplifting as well as entertaining. Her channel really shows growth! From poetry to comedy, anxiety to humour, foolish to wise. It’s really worth giving her a watch.

The inspiration for this blog will never be eliminated from my most watched. I love Zoe’s vlogs and watching her very lavish lifestyle. But while having all this fame, she does also have a bubbly personality and great honesty with her viewers.

I feel great pleasure to not only call Grace an amazing YouTuber, but also a friend. We both keep in touch via Instagram however her videos have such a professional touch that I hardly believe it’s just a 16 year old girl in her bedroom! The videos are of top quality, sharing things all of us want to see: studying tips, clean with me’s, room transformations and baking! It’s a great combination of lifestyle videos that are always upbeat. Please go and support her YouTube channel and check out her Instagram!

Adriene guides me through my daily yoga practise, so she also makes it on to the list of my favourite YouTubers. Without her videos, I’d be performing yoga like a sack of potatoes! Please check out her channel if you’re considering trying out yoga from home. You don’t need a mat or any other special equipment. I do it in my pyjamas as soon as I role out of bed!

Big thank you to Sophie for being the source of inspiration for this post! If you are not familiar with Sophie’s Corner, please check out her blog andInstagram. They are both brimming with quality content! Including a post just like this (Sophie’s Favourite YouTuber’s post is linked here).

Hope you’re all having a lovely day!

    • I suppose they are all quite small YouTubers, especially Grace but she deserves so much more support! Hope you get to check out my recommendations when the time of boredom (more like procrastination) ensues. Thank you so much for reading, take care! 💕

    • I’ve been watching her for a long, long time. It’s crazy how much her followers have seen her grow over the past 10 years! Must catch up on her vlogs but school work has been getting in the way.
      Have a great day ☺️

  1. It’s letting me comment here through the reader now! So don’t be alarmed by the amount of comments coming your way over the next couple of days 😉😂 My sister and I meditated to a Yoga With Adrienne video the other day and it was AMAZING, felt so calm afterwards and made a pact to check out her channel. Great post, I will have to check out the rest of these YouTubers!✨ Take care 💕

    • That’s good news! Thank you Elsie, I really appreciate it. This morning I finished my 30 days of yoga with Adriene and I hope to do 30 more. If you check her out, do let me know! I would be interested to hear if yoga works for you. Hope you’re safe also 💕
