On a Saturday evening I much prefer to curl up with a book than watch films – though I’m sure that’s no surprise to you! However, when Christmas comes around I do tend to be watching more telly. I watch the same Christmas films every year which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense because I still haven’t watched all of the classics. Today’s post is a list of Christmas films I really want to watch this year! You’ll be ashamed by the amount of American films I haven’t watched 😂
Miracle On 34th Street
It’s on the shelf but still wrapped in its plastic film! I’ve heard many good things about this one so it’s a priority for this year. If it wasn’t for my long to-do list, I’d definitely go and watch it now.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
I don’t know if I should class this as a Halloween or Christmas film! I’m still putting it on my watchlist for this month though. So many of my friends have watched it that I feel a bit left out! It’ll be interesting to see what the hype is all about.
How The Grinch Stole Christmas
Some of you will definitely be shocked by this, but I’ve just never seen The Grinch! I have a brief understanding of the story line, though there is more festivity in watching the whole of it!
Love Actually
Rom-coms might be my all-time my favourite genre of films, though I’ve never watched one of the most iconic rom-coms of all time! I’m quite disappointed within myself, though not for much longer. I’ll try my best to watch this film soon!
Frozen II
Can you believe that Frozen was released 5 years ago? It seems like yesterday. I’m going to see this sequel next week and I’m quite excited for it. Though you may not class it as a Christmas film, all the snow and ice definitely has wintery vibes for me. Sequels are always disappointing, but it’s a children’s film so I will find enjoyment in it anyways!
That’s it for my Christmas watch list! I don’t think that I will have time for any more than five so I’m leaving it at that. You will find me rewatching all the Nativity’s at some point though!
Small Foot and penguins of madagascar christmas special plus your list haha 😀
Btw, the girl in the cover of Miracle On 34th Street look like Matilda in Matilda movie… going to search

I seem to love trashy Netflix Christmas movies hahaha I recently watched A Knight Before Christmas and surprisingly, I didn’t hate it 😛 I also really love Frozen and wanna go watch the sequel, but the tickets in Germany are super expensive, so I’m gonna wait until I go home next week and hope it’s still in the theatres…

Sadly I don’t have Netflix but trashy films are always the best! I still haven’t got around to most of these films however I saw Frozen last week. It was quite good and didn’t disappoint me. ‘Into The Unknown’ is how on my Christmas playlist XD If you get to see it let me know what you think! Merry Christmas! x
