December Bullet Journal Set-Up | ‘Tis The Season To Be Jolly

It’s the final month of the decade! I can’t believe how fast this year has gone. It feels like a few days ago that I was at a new year’s party! The older I get, the faster the years pass. Next year, however, I am making an effort to get out and do stuff so that the year seems longer! For example, in 2018 I travelled to so many places and it made time ‘slow down’. I am the only one who gets that feeling?

This bullet journal set-up is quite minimalistic because I didn’t want to plaster it with all the festive colours. The cover page isn’t exciting at all! Though the further you get into the set-up the more creative it becomes.

December is a really busy month so I’ve left the calendar without details – to make it as functional as possible. Now I’ve taken photos of it I’ll start writing down all of my dates! It’s going to be hard to fit blogging in around all of the social events but I will try my hardest! I don’t want to hibernate like I did last year 😂Christmas is a prime-time for content 🙃

‘Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree’ is one of my favourite festive songs

The candle is cinnamon scented though it’s on it’s last burn! 😢

I didn’t have habit trackers for November so I did forget to practise my cello a lot and my reading went down too! This month I am hoping to fill in these trackers as best as I can. Especially the ‘100+ pages a day’ because I really want to reach my Goodreads goal!

I don’t put Christmas decorations up until much later in the month so I’ve had to use these pinecones instead. They’re still festive, right?

The mood tracker is one of my favourite spreads! Reflecting on feelings is really important to me. This month is going to be hectic so I doubt I will have as much time for journalling – though I still want to keep track of my moods. I can’t want to see what the end result will be like too!

The last page is my expense tracker. It’s essential for this month because I’ll be buying a lot of presents! I usually make gifts for my closer family though I don’t have the time to do that for everyone. Hopefully I won’t fill the whole page 😬

What theme are you doing for you December bullet journal? If you don’t currently have a bujo, is it something you want to take up in the new year?

Thank you so much for reading today’s post! Have a lovely December,

  1. Yes, time goes fast.
Yay for me because I reach my reading goal (and more) in Goodreads… yes, I’m gloating a bit. Sorry 😁
I’m writing in my journal when I remember, but otherwise it’s a bit abandon right now…

  2. Your spreads for December look so lovely!! I hope you manage to keep better track of everything you do this month. But don’t worry about it too much. It’s crazy how fast this year went by! I haven’t even started to think about all the things I wanna do next year!

    • Thank you Marta! They’re not the most aesthetically pleasing but they are functional (which is the main purpose). I shouldn’t worry about keeping track of everything but it does help me to practise my cello a bit more (which I really need to do because I have a concert coming up!) I don’t believe in New Years Goals but a few little habits are good 🙂
