Thank you very much Xandra for allowing me to do this tag! I found the questions very interesting so, although I have been nominating for this award before, I really wanted to do this today. Go and check out Xandra’s blog for some amazing book recommendations and great bookish posts! She deserves a lot of love.
- Why did you start your blog?
I have told this tale hundreds of times, but I started this blog because the book series Girl Online inspired me. I tried my very best to recreate Penny’s character before realising that I don’t have to fake it to make it. I could be myself and people would still like it!
- Is there anything you wish you had done when you first started blogging?
I was completly new to the idea of blogging so I don’t really mind that I got things wrong in the beginning. However, I wish I had found out about this scheduling tool sooner!
- What was your favorite childhood book/series?
As a historical fiction lover, my favourite series was Hetty Feather. There are a total of seven in that series though there may be more now. I re-read it so many times that my mind was into different places at once: Victorian London and present-day England XD
- Who is your favorite author, and why?
I don’t have a favourite author or genre because I think that they should all be appreciated for their different values! I must say that Emily Bronte was good at conducting her one an only book without making it boring. Wuthering Heights was full of good language but it never made me yawn.
- Where is your favorite place to read?
When the weather is lovely in an evening, I will go and sit on the lawn. I most often read in my bed though because British weather is unpredicatable and cold!
- Why did you start reading? Tell us your story!
I found it fascinating for all of my life, though my reading goals started about a year ago when I bumped into the booktube and book blogging community. You were all so lovely that I had to join in! I have discovered some really amazing books and without this blog I would definetly not be the same.
- If you had to choose one for the rest of your life, would it be books, movies, or TV shows?
Of course it would be books! I find it so much nicer to judge a character by their beliefs and morals instead of the exterior.
- What are your favorite kinds of posts to write?
I really enjoy tags because they are easy to do but also share a lot of information. Book reviews are quite hard to write (summarising all of your thoughts) but the response is really rewarding.
- Do you like graphic novels? If so, which are your favorites?
I’ve only ever read Saga Volume 1 but I really enjoyed it. I’m sure the book would have no interest to me without the images. I’ll be picking the rest up in future and possibly discovering some more.
- What are some books you wish you had read sooner?
I wish I had read Harry Potter much sooner! I read the series for the first time when I was 11. It’s not that old but compared to my friends I left it a bit late. Oh well, I least it was read eventually!
- Is there a book you’ve been wanting to read, but haven’t yet?
The Night Circus is sitting on my shelf now and I finally have the chance to pick it up! I wanted desperately to finish Lady Midnight first but now I free. I am free to the realms of the circus! I don’t know much of the context but I like to go into a book with little knowledge of what it is about. If I get lost then Mr. Google can help me out.
That’s it for today’s post! If you would like to particpate then please feel free and use the questions I did.
Do you enjoy tags? What are you reading at the moment?
Have a wonderful day,
Congrats on the award! Will check out Xandra’s blog now too. If only the British weather were better as it’s lovely being able to sit in the garden to read. I spend 99% of reading time in my bed, and considering the yuck horrible weather today I’m looking forward to snuggling up with a book later!
Caz xx

Thank you so much! Today’s weather has been horrific but it’s brightening up now. I managed to sneak a run in and it didn’t rain at all. Hopefully we will get a few more golden hours before it starts snowing 😅 Have a good evening – I hope you get the chance to read your book! x
