June Bullet Journal Set-Up 2019

As a way to help lower my OCD levels and keep on top of any stress, I started bullet journaling. For years I have been unconsciously keeping a bujo, without even knowing what it was called. At the start of this year, I purchased my first dotted notebook and started creatively bullet journaling. It has been hard to get my grips on! Yet practice (and watching a lot of Amanda Rach Lee) has made perfect.

Today I am sharing with you my June bujo setup (sorry it’s a bit late). I decided to go with a minimalistic, parabolic design theme. That way, there is hardly any room for error πŸ˜‚

I use a Leuchtturm 1917 notebook. It is very popular but slightly pricey! I got mine from Amazon, you can check it out here. Also, my Faber Castell fineliners always come in handy. I was gifted them two years ago and they are stilling working fine! For this particular spread, I only used the XS and S.

For my cover page, I randomly placed my parabolic designs. With the pages being dotted, it made it easier to draw them! On the left side, I used a quote from Incredibles. I kept the font minimal and easy: using spaced out capital letters. This made it easier to write a lot!

The monthly planner took a lot of messing about. Eventually, the grid was in the place I wanted it to be! I used pencil lines to separate each square because I didn’t want it to be too bold. Yet again, I used the parabolic designs randomly around the spread.

The quotes at the bottom is from Doctor Who. I am really unhappy with where it sits and should probably have used a shorter one. Oh well, that’s what happens when you wing it!

June is a busy month for events but I don’t have many school projects, now that the academic year is at a close. Therefore, I didn’t make a separate calendar for homework/assignments. Usually I would do this, for I get very frustrated when I leave things until the last minute.

That’s it for my set up this month! I still need to add habit trackers but I’m not sure what the goals are yet, for June. As always, I would like to challenge myself to read 5 books!

What are your goals for this month?

And, do you keep a bullet journal?

Be sure to check out my Instagram story, I am constantly updating it with bullet journal inspiration and the progress on my own bullet journal:

  1. Ooh it looks so cute- plus blue is my favourite colour! I always keep a journal/planner when I have university because I would legit forget all my assignments without it. Plus I’m a bit of a neat freak and need everything hyper organized- it helps me calm down for some reason!

  2. Oooo this is funky! I don’t bullet journal but I love being nosy and seeing how other people do theirs. I do hope it helps you keep on top of things and mentally balance you out a bit. I used to think my endless to-do lists and keeping a regular calendar helped balance me out, now I think those to-do lists are what’s taking my anxiety levels through the roof πŸ˜† Maybe I need to take some inspiration from you and attempt a bullet journal. Love those little lights by the way! πŸ™‚

    • Thank you, Caz! I was the same as you. I had endless to-do lists around my room πŸ˜‚ Now I have 3 to 4 things I want to complete on a daily basis. The other ten I used to write down, are compulsory! (like making lunch) but I used to use a todo list for schedule as well.
Thank you for your comment 😊 I hope you have a good day!
