Hello, welcome back to my blog!
This is the final instalment of my France travel diary.
On the third day of France, I went to Mont St Michel. It’s a beautiful town full of tacky souvenirs and lovely cafés!
The architecture is truly stunning. It reminded me of the island from Tangled, little did I know the film based it off the island! How brilliant is that? (my inner Disney fangirl is, well, fangirling).
It was a cloudy day (and windy up at the top) but the views still stunned me! The shape of the land is so beautiful. Also, I never realised until I was up there, that Normandy is so flat.
I’m sorry that the photos are a bit distorted at the side. I think it was due the old camera lense I was using 😊
After having a real good look around the abbey (I learned a lot about the history and architecture, which were my main interests for the trip), I slowly made my way down to the bottom. I’m not materialistic so I didn’t buy any souvenirs: photos and memories are more important. However, I did have a good look around. I probably annoyed lots of shop owners for just browsing 😂. However, the street food caught my eye.
I had a donut because my parents couldn’t tell me not too. Also, an Orangina. It was a goal to drink some in my trip because I had never tried it before! If it wasn’t so expensive, I would bring some home (aka it was really tasty). I can try and create a replica though (lemonade, orange juice with bits, orange cordial?).
The narrow streets definitely gave me Diagon Alley vibes. I’ve visited the Harry Potter studios in London so I know for certain that they give off the same energy!
Thank you for sticking with me through all these travel diaries. Hopefully I’ll be going somewhere different soon 😂
Hopefully you get the chance to visit some of the places I’ve mentioned in these last few posts! And if you have visited them, tell me in the comments your experience.
Have a great day 💕
Wow, France looks so beautiful! I hope to go someday. ❤

Is now a good time to admit I’ve never seen Tangled? I see stuff about it everywhere, and there’s always bits in shops with characters from it and Frozen (which I’ve also not seen).
Oooo Orangina – I remember those when I was a kid. They’d come in little glass bottles though, which I adored as they felt special (like this https://images.app.goo.gl/St2Hoyz25EBDbX5X9). They’re good, right? Yum yum 🙂

I really wanted one in a glass bottle but I couldn’t find one. It’s a shame, plastic is really being overused these days.
I would recommend a Disney movie marathon! I must admit, I haven’t watched many of the ‘Princess’ films, either.
Have a great day 🙂
